Common questions

Can AI really write a grant proposal?

We don’t claim it can — and you shouldn’t trust anyone who does. GrantBeam generates a first draft: a starting point that captures your mission and the grant’s requirements. You bring the judgment, the nuance, and the final voice. We save you the first several hours of blank-page writing.

We already have a grant writer.

GrantBeam makes them faster. Less time researching and drafting from scratch, more time refining strategy and strengthening applications.

We can’t afford another tool.

At $49/mo, a single successful grant covers years of GrantBeam. The real cost is the opportunities your team doesn’t have time to find.

Is our data safe?

Your organization data is encrypted and never shared. GrantBeam uses your profile only to match you with relevant opportunities.

What if the matches aren’t relevant?

Match quality depends on your profile. Focus areas and your mission statement account for 60% of the match score. If these are vague or too broad, you’ll see noise. Narrow your focus areas to 3-5 specific ones, write a detailed mission (2-3 sentences about who you serve and what you do), and you’ll see the difference immediately. During your 14-day trial, you can fine-tune until the matches feel right.

Why am I not getting enough matches?

Your profile may be missing key fields. At minimum, make sure you have 2-3 focus areas, a mission statement, your state, and your organization type set. A complete profile typically surfaces 10-20+ relevant matches. You can update your profile at any time from your dashboard.

What if I’m getting too many matches?

Too many matches usually means your focus areas are too broad. If you selected 6 or more categories, the engine matches across all of them. Try narrowing to your top 3-5 focus areas and being more specific in your mission statement.

Stop searching. Start applying.

Every week your team spends researching grants manually is a week you could have spent applying. GrantBeam finds the opportunities. You decide which ones to pursue.
